I am running a special event for Spring Equinox and the New Moon on Friday September 22nd. The event will be held at The Yoga Space in Manly, starts at 7pm and is $30. We will be doing some meditation, rituals around letting go and manifesting the life you desire. It is a beautiful safe space to look inward and evolve. I will also do some sound healing and play some live music for you 🙂
I love playing live wedding music for ceremonies, there’s nothing quite like it in terms of music performing. I love being a part of a couples’ special day; creating a beautiful atmosphere as guests arrive, settling everyone but also building excitement and joy in the space through music. Everyone is slightly nervous and I feel like I am the anchor that happily grounds them. I love watching the emotion and expressions of joy on their faces and hearing the words they have chosen to express the way they feel about each other. I see the reactions of their loved ones, the often unseen support from groomsmen, the flutter of anxiety from friends rushing around organising things and the zen of the celebrant.
My wedding day was so special and I felt so engulfed by love and joy. When brides and grooms choose me to play music for their wedding it really is an honour.
My favourite wedding ceremony songs to play..
Can’t Help Falling in Love – the lyrics to this song are so cute & who doesn’t love Elvis
Latch – the dynamics in the melody create some beautiful rise and fall moments
At Last – the melody of this song is so fun to sing with all those bendy notes
Being a live wedding musician is the best job. I get to travel all over Sydney and to beautiful places in the country like Orange and the Hunter Valley which I may not have visited otherwise. I get to try lots of different beautiful wines and food and work with other creatives who are passionate about what they do. I get to meet lots of different people and all with my hubby by my side (most of the time). But the thing I love most is that I have the chance to share my gift of music to so many different people of all ages, walks of life and to see them enjoying themselves is just the best.
Love & gratitude..

I had the pleasure of singing and playing piano for Amanda and Martin’s wedding ceremony at St. Mary’s in Manly on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. It was a traditional mass ceremony and so beautiful!

TESTIMONIAL FROM THE BRIDE AND GROOM
“Larissa is a amazing wedding singer. From the very start when I emailed her through to my church ceremony.. she has been helpful and made my ceremony so special”
I am holding a New Moon Circle with live music on Friday June 23rd at The Yoga Space in Manly on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and would love you to join. You can read more about the event by clicking here.
Here’s a recording of the classic love song, At Last by Etta James. It’s one of my favourite songs to play and one of the most requested songs for a wedding ceremony..
I first heard Larissa singing live at a club and knew as soon as I heard her beautiful voice that I wanted her to sing at our wedding.Larissa sang at our ceremony & canapés break and provided a lovely touch of elegance to the afternoon. Her playlist was perfect for the occasion and at our request she learnt our favourite songs.
Larissa is extremely professional and I never had a moments doubt that she wouldnt be a perfectionist. Our guests were so happy to be treated to Larissas beautiful voice while they were enjoying the lovely setting by the water in Manly.
Thank you, Larissa, you made our day very special and you were such a delight to work with.

We stumbled across Larissa and Jake at a wedding fair and after listening to Larissa play, we knew that her beautiful music would be perfect in creating a relaxed atmosphere for our special day. Luckily, she was available, and we were able to work with her to create a live music and DJ package that best suited our needs. In the lead up to the wedding and on the day, Larissa and Jake were a pleasure to work with. They found a balance between offering advice and working with our requests. Their performance at our reception was a perfect mixture of fun and romance, with many of our guests commenting on their beautiful music!
Last year I played this song in a beautiful church as a bride walked down the aisle on her wedding day and she asked me to record it for her, so here you go!
This was a song request for a bride and groom for their wedding ceremony that I played last year and is now one of my favourites. Here’s a snippet captured while I was sound checking at Holy Cross Church in Kincumber, NSW.
