Renny and Matt’s wedding was an absolutely stunning, modest but beautiful wedding in the Southern Highlands of NSW. It was a chilly Autumn day which added to the magical feeling. We were invited to provide entertainment from ceremony through to reception moving from acoustic to DJ. We love being a part of the wedding from start to finish as we get to know guests and have a great time.
I played live music solo for the ceremony and canapés, and then Jake and I played as a live music duo for the first part of the wedding reception and then after speeches we both DJ for the second part of reception.
Larissa was very professional from the beginning and all the way to the day of the wedding. She was always happy to answer my questions. My husband and I always wanted live music for our wedding and when we heard Larissa sing we knew she was the perfect person for our day. She has an amazing talent and to be able to share that with all our loved ones on our wedding day made it more special. She also did an amazing job at learning not one but two songs for our reception and first dance. What also made working with Larissa even more special, is that for the reception, her husband Jake played the DJ and got everyone dancing the night away. We highly, highly recommend Larissa to anyone looking for something special on their wedding day.

“Thank you so much Larissa for being the most accommodating, kind, and TALENTED wedding singer there is. You not only have a voice of an angel you were one of the easiest wedding vendors to work with for the big day. I wish I could get married again just to hear your voice live – I will continue to sing your praises to all my friends who are planning events / weddings as they need to have your voice in their life. Thanks again xxxx!”

I recently played live acoustic music as a soloist for Carina and Karim’s beautiful wedding ceremony and canapes break at The Calyx at The Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney. What an amazing venue! And playing music while being surrounded by the most nourishing backdrop of plants and flowers was an absolute joy.

Gemma and Daniel congrats! You guys were an absolute pleasure to work with and we were so honoured you chose us to play music on your wedding day. We wish you all the very best for your life together.
Their beautiful ceremony was held at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Paddington and the reception at Centennial Homestead in Centennial Park, Sydney.
I played solo acoustic music live for the ceremony, then Jake and I played as an acoustic duo so guests could enjoy live music during canapés and through dinner. Jake was MC and we both DJ-ed for the second part of the reception.
There is something really special about being involved in a wedding from start to finish. We create a relationship with guests and the bride and groom and feel part of the wedding and we absolutely love this. We intuitively tap into the mood and flow of the evening and work that into how we play and MC.

“When we stumbled upon Larissa and heard her voice, we knew she would be perfect for our wedding. We weren’t disappointed, her voice gave us Goosebumps. Larissa made organising everything leading up to the day so smooth and easy in such a stressful time. We were so indecisive about what songs we wanted and she was nothing but accommodating, learning new songs for us with short notice however making it sound like she had known them for years! Our first dance topped off the night, with Larissa singing our favourite song live and making it a such a special moment for us to remember. Our guests all couldn’t stop raving about how much they loved Larissa and how beautiful her voice was on the day, in the church all the way through to our reception. Jake her husband, was so lovely and easy going also, acting as our MC and DJ for the night and helping our night to run smoothly. As a team they were so professional and fit in so well with the vibe we wanted for the night, live and easy listening music for the first part of the day followed by some upbeat music to dance to towards the end of the night. We highly recommend them both.” – Gemma + Daniel, 2018
The ceremony for Rieteke and Max’s beautiful wedding was held at McKell Park, at Darling Point overlooking Sydney Harbour. I played music solo for the ceremony and then Jake and I played an acoustic duo set at The Royal Botanic Gardens while guests enjoyed drinks and canapés by the pond.
We moved up into the main reception room at The Botanic Gardens Restaurant just before the bride and groom and the rest of the bridal party made their entrance and as they settled in we played more acoustic live music as a duo through dinner and up until speeches. Then after speeches we switched to DJ for the rest of the evening.
Here’s a testimonial from Rieteke and Max.
“We are so happy we stumbled across Larissa while we were looking for musicians for our wedding. She is incredibly talented, and was more than happy to learn a new song for our ceremony and take the dance floor play list off our hands. Larissa played solo at our ceremony, was joined by Jake for a duo for our reception, and then they DJ’d for the rest of the evening – a fantastic all in one package! We got glowing reviews from our guests and would not hesitate to recommend Larissa.” – Reiteke Grosser
