What an original, love filled and colour popping day this was!
We provided the sound speakers and mics for the ceremony, canapes &through dinner and then DJ’d through the second half of the reception and got the DF pumping.
What this looks like..
We make sure the chosen songs get played for each of those special moments. That the sound is at the best volume and the speakers are moved from section to section seamlessly and without a fuss. We turn the music down and the mics up through the speeches. We take requests from your guests and read the room to keep the dancefloor pumping, we announce the first dance, the last drinks and the final song of the night.
When the music and logistics run smoothly no one should notice. When they don’t it can become clunky and a little awkward.
We loved supporting this beautiful couple in Byron Bay, just down the road from our house. It was where they first went on holiday as a couple together and have special memories of watching live music and dancing together, so wanted to bring that into the wedding ceremony and reception.
There is something special about having live music or acoustic music for the wedding ceremony and Byron Bay has a multitude of talented musicians. I am so glad Poppy and Nick chose me to play live music and DJ to celebrate their special day.
